I rely on my Nightuards to act as my eyes and ears while I am busy monitoring the dream world. They help me to deal with the threats that are best kept out of the public eye.

My guards are divided into various sections. Adamant and Westwood are among the Watchers, who constantly monitor anomalies. If a physical threat surfaces, there are also various other squadrons, such as the Vanguard.

There is more to offense than a sword, and defense than a shield. A modern warrior rarely fights alone, and the Night Vanguard, Westwood, and I are part of Her Royal Highness Princess Luna’s support structure. Westwood’s ability to interact and understand the readings is uncanny and well practiced, as if he has been interacting with the device long before our Princess’s return.

You need not fear the headless horse, Ghost ChimneySweep, it is but a story for foals. While your suggestions are “interesting”, Valley Gibb and Miss Little Eris, I feel a proper burial is in order. (( Yes yes, I know this ain’t a very good round-up for this arc, but now I just wanted it over and done with. No, Star Shot is not being sent away for good, she’ll just need some help to be repaired. I wrote myself up in a corner with this plot idea and am just chickening out of it again.

Now I just want to focus on the cutiemark swap event and I’ll keep the ask box off until I got it properly started and settled.

Thanks to Scootabot for letting me use her like this as well as thanks to the Nightguards for being my to-go-to helpers when it’s about Star Shot needing to get pulled out of the blog for a short while.

It should be noted that renumeration for confiscated artifacts occurs on a case-by-case situation. Westwood suggested I trade the cabinet for an disk labeled “Sonic 06” stating that it would be only “half as dangerous.” When I commented that the disk would be unplayable due to its degradation of time, he assured me that, based on the documents mentioning it, “it was unplayable back then, too.” For all the years we have worked together, I still do not fully comprehend his logic at times.
